Brussels Sprout ‘Crispus’ F1 generation hybrid is a superb variety, with a Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit. It’s both vigorous and has an excellent standing ability. The small, tight buttons are a lovely dark green with good flavour.
We selected this Brussels Sprout variety for its superb flavour, knowing it will make a great addition to your Sunday lunch. Crispus is an excellent source of vitamin C and are packed full of vitamin D, folic acid and is high in antioxidants.
To grow tightly packed sprouts we recommend you plant in firm, fertile soil. Dig in plenty of well-rotted manure or compost such as Westland’s Jack Magic in March before planting out in May to give the soil the maximum time to settle.
