Butternut Squash Seeds ‘Sweetmax’
Squash ‘Sweetmax’ is a British-bred Butternut variety which produces an outstanding quality crop of attractively shaped fruit. ‘Sweetmax’ is suitable for both exhibition growing and also for cooking; it has a pleasantly sweet, nutty taste and is perfect to roasting, baking and mashing, keeping its colour well. It sets its fruits early giving it an advantage over other varieties because it receives more sun for ripening. The yield is as you’d expect from a squash, with each plant producing up to three squashes of about 3kg each. The seed cavity is small so there is less waste when your scoop out the seeds.
