Chinese Broccoli Seeds ‘Kailaan’
- Edible stems, leaves, buds & flowers.
- Quick cropping.
- Deliciously tender.
A similar taste to calabrese and broccoli but with a tangier flavour. All parts are edible, from the deliciously tender stems and leaves to the buds and flowers.
A fast-growing crop that can be harvested approximately 60 days from transplanting and can be sown all through the growing season.
Blanch diagonally sliced stems for 3-4 minutes until tender then stir-fry with oil flavoured with garlic, oyster or soy sauce and a pinch of sugar, add the leaves and flowers for the last couple of minutes of cooking – scrumptious!
