This 100% peat-free compost for bulbs provides an ideal growing medium. It contains sheep’s wool and bracken which have been perfectly blended to produce beautiful, strong plants.
Bracken has been proven to provide naturally high levels of potash which is essential for flowering and with increased levels of iron and magnesium, your plants will be nourished, keeping them strong and healthy.
Sheep’s wool has great water retention, so is great in times of drought. The proteins in wool break down allowing nitrogen to be gradually released. This then acts as a slow release fertiliser, essential for great flower performance.
Dalefoot Bulb Compost continuously feeds your bulbs for two years before you need to replace or add feed to the existing soil. The free draining compost ensures you get healthier bulbs as the open consistency helps to prevent bulb rot.
