Gro-Sure Lawn Seeding Soil is a unique blend of fine peat, loam and sand, with added seaweed extract. Its designed to give grass or newly laid turf the best possible start.Its fine grade ensures closer seed and root contact with the compost for swift, successful germination and also strong healthy grass growth and establishment.
Additionally, Gro-Sure Lawn Seeding Soil has an added wetting agent to ensure easier and more effective watering, plus it’s weed-free too.
How to use
For new lawns:
- Firm down the existing soil by treading, ensuring that clods are broken-up
- Firm the soil by repeated treating and raking until you have a flat, firm surface
- Spread Gro-Sure® Lawn Seeding Soil over the prepared surface, to a depth of approximately 3-4cm and level
- Sow grass seed or lay turf
For top dressing:
- Fill in any hollows and improve lawn growing conditions by using as a top-dressing
- Spread in a layer approximately 1-2cm deep all across the lawn and work into the grass using a stiff brush
