Linum Seeds ‘Grandiflorum Rubrum’

Producing a fantastic display of bright scarlet flowers, Linum grandiflorum ‘Rubrum’ (garden flax) adds months of brilliant colour to sunny beds. Easy to grow and flowering from midsummer to late autumn, it looks superb sown in swathes through a border, and also works well in containers.
Sow outdoors
Sow thinly, directly into well-drained soil that has is weed-free and broken down into a fine tilth. Sow in spring for flowering the same year or, in milder areas, in autumn to flower the following year. Rake over gently to cover to a depth of around 3mm. Thin young seedlings to around 15cm apart. For best results sow in full sun.

Deadhead to prolong flowering.
